Doug:

I agree. But what do I know, I think that this pig has been overvalued since ~20-$30 share (pre split).

That raised its cumulative total to 3.14 million accounts.

No doubt that number includes me, who purchased one (1) book from Amazon.com in Dec. of 1996. Never mind that I haven't purchased anything since; I'm still included in the "cumulative total of X million accounts".

This sort of rubbish is the same stuff put out by paid hypesters like Emerald Research, of Zitel fame. When you consider that Amazon.com is a direct investment banking customer of investment banking firms like MSDW, DLJ, etc., etc.; the publicly divulged opinions of these investment banks with regard to Amazon's fundamentals should be viewed as paid hype and little else. IMO. Now I know that the article you cited was from a Motley fool's article, but we've seen similar things from investment banking firms.
