One real useful question or point? Sure. Go back to my post Message 5240066 I have made the point that religious intolerance is on the rise in India and I have supported my point with facts. How come nobody responded? The "conventional wisdom" is that those religious bigots will do wonders for India, and that if they do whip up religious passions, it is but a small price for Indians to pay. All that needs to be done is to "tune oneself out" of such things, and everything will work out just fine! Such "trade-offs" will never, ever, ever work. But many have deluded themselves they will.
