It appears as if Batman is silent. Extortion is a crime. Extortion in print is stupid and clearly actionable. For david travis to have responded to the extortion attempt is also a crime, and to have done it in print is clearly stupid. Let me hedge this by saying that is my opinion.

However, it seems logical, and it also seems logical in my opinion that SI would not want this criminal activity published on its web site.
