even when AOL was on its way to 150 :)

I don't think AOL will be down much before its earnings.. with
all the deals coming in AOL should be able to beat estimates
handily.. and don't forget that stock split game..

I think tomorrow should be an up day.

Keith,

If you had brought AOL at 87.5 instead of shorting it, you would be up 35 and change. Think about this, AOL would have to drop to 50 for you to get the same amount of gain, and this is after a 12 drop from 136. It clear to me that shorting a stock is inefficient way to invest or devest money. Why do people spend their time looking for stocks to short when going long is much more profitable???

Please do not think this post was an attempt to slant you in any way. I am not trying to convince you that I am right. Just giving you insight as to why buying at these prices is not as insane as people believe.
