Sigmund,

I think that SI has seemed slow for the last few days. No messages and then a whole slew would show up at once. And links seemed slow also..who knows?

I agree with your assessment about the market. I was disappointed in THQI initially today, but it did seem to hold up well and also seemed to trend up slightly the last 2 hours of the day, which was when the overall market had another big drop. I think that bodes well for next week.

A "live and learn" story...I had a small position in THQI that I use as a trading position (the rest, which is substantially larger, I am long on). I got nervous and got stopped out at $32, the complete bottom for the day. I repurchased the shares later at $33 3/8. Next time I'll be a little slower to set those limits...I still have not learned to time this stock and I get burned every time I try. Oh well, like I said "live and learn". Thank goodness for those long positions.

I'm off to vacation next week but will be checking in from time to time. I am enjoying the interactivity here and look forward to hearing everyone's comments, especially Todd's notes on the conference call.

OT...if anyone is interested, the big pharma stocks dropped quite a bit today. I think that Pfizer is a great buy (almost double from last year at this time)...it's leveled off some since Viagra was approved but is eventually going to run up some more. They've got a great pipeline for the long haul and will probably split 3:1 or 2:1 later this year. All IMHO of course.
