Roughly speaking, how many members are there at SI??
(I'm just curious as to what those numbers compute out to percentagewise)

Mike

Brad, since you are ALWAYS looking for new features, why not make
your postings (like this one) operational and stick in a "Hot People"
button somewhere? You know they like it because they ask you for it.

Ah. I see I've moved up on the list. Thank you Brad, and thanks as well to all of you who made this achievement possible. I'd like to offer special recognition to Dixie7777 and Dave Gore, without whose exceptional promotional efforts I'd no doubt still be stuck back there at 148 or so...

Hugs and kisses to all those slimy hypesters and promoters, too!

Must fly!

Brad - Thanks for putting up the clubhouse for us on the HDIE thread.

Features: Are you still working on adding ability to text search on an individual thread? It would be most helpful.

Also, How about a way to send semiprivate messages, i.e. to multiple recipients.

Brad, a suggestion you might like....A link somewhere where members can check out your advertisers.. I wouldn't want it on every page, however it looks like you have some interesting sponsors I and others might want to check out from time to time. Scott

Brad:

Another suggestion (no idea if it's hard to implement).

Often times people talk about a symbol, but I don't know what company it is, so I go to Yahoo for a detailed quote. This is inconvenient.

How about a way to get a profile from within SI? Even better, in the message preview page, a way to convert the first instance of a symbol into a company name so people would be encouraged to print the name.

Sorry if this problem is already addressed somewhere.

Thanks, Peter

The "requested page not found" when posting is becoming more of a problem as time goes by.....are you working on this problem? If so, what is the problem in getting it fixed.

Brad, I was just curious: who do these Hot People bookmark? I'd like to see who they listen to, if it can be done anonymously, like a "Hottest People bookmarked by the Hottest People" list. <gg>

Brad,

Where does one go to get a new listing of the 150 most PeopleMarked?

Here's an idea for the new SI .... (sorry classic users)
(I use classic when I'm on dialup modems and 'new si' when I'm T1)...

Anyways,

I think it would be cool to have the capability of 'view next 10 messages' on a thread apply to the subject marks 'new messages'

What I mean by that is when you bring up the subject marks page, offer an option that would let the person view all the new entries in all bookmarked subjects. That would save having to keep going back to the 'subjectmarks' page. It would be much easier to just click on 'view all new subject marked messages' (multi-thread) and then respond / peruse the whole set as one.

David

Thats interesting, is this a bug (new si)? If you post a message with 'fixed font' and then come back to edit, the fixed font setting is lost when you press submit. But there is no 'fixed font' checkbox either at this point....
