re class action suit against Greenspan
It is so hard to sue the government. This is one of the most frustrating things to freedom lovers. If private companies manipulated us as the government does, they would be fined, jailed, whatever.
I wish we still had a free market. If people believe that companies are worth a certain price and willing to buy the share at that price, thats it. Its no business of anyone to force them to do otherwise, yet that seems to be Greenspan's job, exactly. How long do you think it will last this time?

It goes to show we are a country of sheep (at least when it comes to investing.) It's like the old saying "fool me once..shame on you, fool me twice..shame on me.

As for his comments about a correction to take place (time and date unknown)...I'd like to do a "one upmanship" on him...Be sure to mark this for future reference as I am going on record to say..

SOME DAY THE WORLD WILL END!!!

Now I'll sit back and see how many people panic ;-)

Uh, Frank, and all other Greenspan-haters;

A very dear friend of mine works for the NY Fed, and he put it to me this way:

Imagine what you would do in his position; you're very, very bright, forced by law to testify at these stupid hearings, and your prime objective is to avoid saying anything egregiously stupid or misleading, and not snap at the dumb questions posed for political gain by the elected representatives.

In other words, he's just doing his JOB. He has no choice but to testify. And, he's correct. The chance of a major correction increases with every Dow point increase. He has nothing to benefit by spooking people; for god's sake, the man is required to hold his OWN assets in a blind trust.

No, I forgot - he's in the pocket of the Rockefellers and the Bilderbergers. Maybe it's one of those damn Jew/Rockefeller/Trilateral commission cabals, designed to take the money out of my pocket.

PUH-LEEEEEEEZE.

Eric
