John / East Lost Hills Play

All I can offer you is that Berkley Petroleum recently described this play as High Risk - but exceptional. This is a play to watch very closely for speculation isn't built into the shares of any of these companies because of the drilling activity.

It would be interesting to review all these companies to see which would be impacted the most in terms of potential % increases in reserves. As you're probably aware, I like Berkley Petrolem, Paramount Resources, Richland Petroleum and Westminster. I did not consider the East Lost Hills play as a significant factor in my review of these companies and thought the play was an additional kicker in regards to their future operating results. Positive results would be very nice indeed.

Incidently, I have a list of companies where significant production is to be added from 1997 thru 1999. Berkley Petroleum is in that list along with Amber Energy, Probe Exploration and Remington Energy.
