Maurice...Incredible response. I appreciated it, and I'm sure our
audience did too. By the way, it looks like Loral/Lockheed is taking
shape. Especially take notice of the premium they are paying for LOR,
just to get their Loral Space. Got my income tax check in the other
day. Putting in my order for some GlobalStar. Thanks a million, Maurice.
Holler anytime. See ya. Don.

*How's it going?* Well, the predictions about Iridium not being duplicated and being dodgy from a competitive point of view look fine 3 years later. Globalstar lost a year while trying to convert swords to ploughshares with the Zenit launch and a few other delays.

It seems that by the end of this year we should have a live system, but a bit frayed around the edges even though the handsets look a LOT better than models of 3 years ago.

Iridium is staggering around and seems likely to collapse as a profitable enterprise though the minutes exist so will be used at some price.

ICO is still dipping a toe in the water. Soon they should pack up and save their shareholders some money. Another system was cancelled. So at least the oversupply of minutes isn't continuing to grow.

Just keeping the thread alive!

Back in a few days. Some things take time.
