William, take away their little "rent a pc program" and things would be real ugly.

I'm not so sure that is true, tough to tell at the moment. YourWare is just a simple 2 year financing lease with unlimited internet tossed in. Read:

gateway2000.com

To the extent it is cannibalizing what used to be their regular sales mix, it could represent a big downward movement in ASP mix.

P.S. Look at the bottom of the above page, looks like they might be turning over the financing biz to MNBA bank.

Regards, DWW

William they didn't meet estimates because their SG&A was 15% as opposed to 13% for all previous quarters. If they had maintained the SG&A at 13% as in the past, you'd be looking at $.62 in net earnings per share. What would your ideas be then?

According to the CEO the increase in SG&A was an event to beef up the company. Generally such events are one time as they will add to increased sales in the future and bring SG&A back in line with previous quarters (13%).
