I think NCR has some smart ATMS that they are playing with, I think even EDS may be involved. If you haven't noticed more and more ATMS are not the tradition CICS screen, they are the nice Graphical User Interfaces with colorful advertising and eventually it should be as easy to pay your bills as it is to transfer money from savings to checking.

One nice thing about bill pay that doesn't get mentioned enough is that with traditional Checks all you see is the Check number on the bank statement. With e-pay if the payment is made electronically (90% in my case), you see the name of the biller instead of the check number, just easier on the eye's to me, plus you don't have to trace the check number to see who you paid.
