i hate to break the news to ya Ava, but shorts are a necessary part of the market health....kinda like all the various bacterias and micro-organisms that live in and on your body.....i have fueled many a rise with my own short covering as well as benefited from many a short squeeze on the long side!....they lend upside volatility as well as downside stability due to covering....maybe a stock you had that was falling was actually buoyed by short covering which allowed you to sell for a much higher price than if there hadnt been any shorts!...basically you should LOVE the current short sellers in any issue you buy into, they have to do something that you already did...BUY! So iam in SEEK right now on the long side....i HATE the current longs because all they are gonna do to me is sell and hurt the price! I LOVE all the current shorts because they need to BUY helping the price! it SEEMs bassackwards, but its true. c):-) good Luck €á
