Hi Randy, Eventually I think I must become a member (if only to remove the somewhat embarrassing "Trial" tag from my name). I am not a current investor in InPrise as I have a bit of a "insider knowledge" problem, but I started monitoring these threads about a month ago. I believe InPrise has a unique advantage over others in the Object Monitor (also referred to as the OTM) market for a few reasons: 1. Their unique ability to make these "universal middleware" products easy to use. If you look at the competition in this space - BEA, IONA, IBM, Microsoft, Hitachi - only MS and InPrise are able to truly provide ease of development. 2. As Visigenics, the company garnished fantastic relationships which in the long term will show major penetration of the market. 3. Like Microsoft (although not quite to the same degree), InPrise has a wealth of dedicated developers out there. Over the last few weeks I've personally talked with many companies that find this a major benefit to the InPrise solution. 4. InPrise has the advantage of being able to provide companies with a fully integrated solution when desired. In recent focus groups we've conducted, this is very important to customers. Personally, maybe it's my inexperience with the stock market, but I can't understand why they aren't valued higher than they are. Perhaps you can assist in explaining why that is. - Karen
