Bill over on the Kahuna thread was talking about BA puts a little while back and I thought to myself -- why put a stock that has already taken on some serious water. I guess all I can say is BWDIK. Hope he still had his puts on that one.

I expect GTW to drop tomorrow, but we'll have to wait days or weeks for a really huge drop. It will come some days after the downgrades. I imagine there will be a few analysts who will maintain their ratings in order to get a few more clients out with as minimum damage as possible. Next quarter will be the real disaster. I think GTW knows by now there is no high end left to milk. People have been buying their boxes on credit long before they started their wonderful little program -- it's the overall boom in the use of credit.

There are scads of people in my area -- I don't live in a posh neighborhood by any means, lower to middle class folks, and I see a GTW box (the cardboard type) laying around at 1/2 the houses having garage sale -- I think they are lying when folks mention penetration numbers -- the numbers are larger even for blue collar folks.

Love to see a BK tomorrow, but if I just get a double -- I'm going to hold on to my puts for a little while longer.
