<<< This is somewhat ironic, but the market may be more willing to pay up for what appears to be a stable grower (30%)-like ERTS-, rather than a stock that will see declining rates of growth (THQ). <<<<

I guess that is the crux of the matter. Now that most of the WCW uncertainty has been removed, what ongoing PE will be applied to THQI? It may take a few quarters before we approach this multiple asymptotically and therefore know what it is. I assume that it will be a higher multiple than is the case today. Thus earnings growth and PE growth should be a favorable environment for the longs.

But the shorts will from time to time get some mileage out of the declining growth rate scenario.

Todd...Thanks for your revised 1998 estimates. I thought your second Q number was a bit high but Q3 and 4 look reasonable.

I have decided to keep my trading shares based on today's news. I thought the biggest positive was the 25% wcw revenue number and my perception that BF is a master of managing revenue from quarter to quarter. I think you will see some bumping up of estimates by at least one of the 3 analysts who cover. I think it unlikely that all 3 will be on the same page next quarter.

By the way, I thought today's action was most constructive and the profit takers will be through by tomorrow. Looking for some upside action next week.

Congratulations Sig on your Q2 estimate.
