If your looking for insider trading in www.edgar-online.com, then you won't necessarily see insider buy's. SEC forms 3,4,5 are not required to be filed with the EDGAR system. Here's the edgar definition of those forms: edgar-online.com. Also, they don't have to file until the 10th day of the month after they were bought. For example, any stock traded this month doesn't have to be filed until August 10th. Also, there are rules as to when an insider can buy/sell securities in relation to press releases that will effect stock price. If anyone can find these rules, please post them.
