Chris, I make a distinction between disagreement and fighting. Disagreement, as you say is healthy, fighting is wasteful. In my post I spoke of a wide path were we can all walk and fellowship, yet disagree. That was the idea I was trying to show; disagree , not fight., you know arm in arm.

Love in Christ,

David

Disagreement about doctrine is one thing, just as long as both sides have a rational, biblical stand on both sides. But insensitive bickering, name calling, rudeness, vicious personal attacks, etc.... is not called for. And God has no place for it. He wants us to be a good witness for him. A witness that shows others his truth, in the proper light. What has been going on this thread is not a good witness between "so called" Christians. I am shocked by it! It has distracted me from my own witness! And it probably has put people off to Christianity. And if it has, would God like it?

I am just starting to get over it now, but I refuse to post anything at this point that gets in the middle of it! And I know, by now most are saying, isn't this post getting in the middle of it. Well maybe, but I had to say it! And I resent that I have to do a tap dance now to witness for God. But people have forced me too!

God Bless Us All,
Steve
