Bill I just took a look at all the indexes in Worden, and the only ones not headed down (imo) are world silver, Hang Seng (and this one is iffy), 5 yr notes, and US Dollar. I am no good at FA, but I expected SOME bright spots (other than silver) and I didn't see any. The transport index is well ahead of the others, I guess when it turns it might give a hint as to when we can expect a bit of relief, but right now it is headed straight down.

Bill,
NAH!Just you!!<VBG>Well KM and KO will be around longer than you and I.AND if we don't get all this figured out soon we could end up working there...ghee, then you wouldn't have to buy calls...just wait on those employee options!!!!Well, if we get the BK they would be good defensive plays.Another few weeks or so I will watch the oils/sevices for a defensive play too.As you know I used to live in Denver, and my oil and gas buddies just said..."Barbara,it just needs to get COLD!"ASND I love and boy is my sister mad at me for selling at 35!!!But I would wait for a pullback and remember LU can't buy anything until Oct for tax reasons.I still have BAY for the moment.
Off to check that link...BTW..CONGRATS on your BA!!!!!:)
Regards,
Barbara

Hi Bill, also from Elliades' March 6, 1998 letter is the following:

"There is another cycle analyst looking for an important turn in July
1998, and that is Martin Armstrong, Chairman of Princeton Economics
International, Princeton, N.J. Armstrong calls July 20, 1998 a 'date
with destiny.' Armstrong has been eerily right about the stock market for many years now. In a report dated August 1997 he wrote:

'There are essentially only two possible paths of action. Either the
market consolidates (corrects) into a 1998 low from which it will still rally until 2003, or it will press higher with the Dow Jones exceeding 10,000 + by July 1998 with a sharp crash at least into 1999
if not 2000.'"
