I tried what you suggested, but got jibberish when I clicked on the file. Also, my browser didn't ask me to save it to disk.

if you subscribe to mutual funds, you will get the download
and have the files updated - there doesn't appear to be
a problem here.

if you subscribe to stocks, you will not get the file downloaded
and have your files updated. You will need to go and
do what Roy mentioned earlier:

Type 208.240.130.216 in your web browser
and when prompted, enter in your name and password.

Then save the file to the qp2data\incoming directory
Rename the file to have an extension of ".zip"
Then run the update program from the start menu which will update your database
