Don't know Pa, but I'll give the answer to my Great Basin question from the other night. Question was: Why is the state of Nevada and the immediate surrounding area called "The Great Basin? Very Simple. All of the rivers and streams in that area do not have an outlet to the ocean. They either flow into a lake or just seep into the ground and evaporate. The Great Basin.
