Bruce - Re: "Have you heard the new Intel Celeron radio commercials? "

I heard the first one (for me at least) yesterday during a trip to the cigar store!

The one I heard was some lady talking to some guy. The lady had a "business" Pentium II and the fellow had a "home" Celeron.

Each one was happy as a clam with their choices - imagine that!

As for reliability - Intel will win that contest hands down. They don't normally release their internal reliability data, but it is there if needed - in HUGE VOLUMES.

And the real reliability test - about 150,000,000 Pentium's and Pentium II's out in the field, computing their little hearts out.

Re: "Competing with Intel is like trying to pick up coins in front of a turbo-charged steam roller."

Yes - which reminds me of Apple's commercial with a Steam Roller (why do we call them "steam" - they haven't used steam in about 80 years!) flattening out a bunch of Intel Inside notebooks.
