Stud,

You are right to put an emphasis on the demand side but they are not fully cooked in terms of streamlining and re org. Still a lot more to do IMO. FWIW their Penang Mngng Dir., Randy Hollis, will move to the PI to take charge of the new combined stack operations. It is a BIG plus. He is top drawer and the one that was largely responsible for executing the makeover at Maxtor's manufacturing plant in S'Pore that resulted in major improvements to efficiency. And stack making is critical to the success of the indy head makers. Aside from MR and GMR process issue, it is the next major point of market share fulcrum IMO. BTW, this hasn't been announced yet as far as I know but it is a fact.

He will have a large task.

Nope...it isn't time for me to buy RDRT. I wanna see the whites of the eyes of the purchasing agents. Or at least a perceptible glimmer of it. I am sure that I will post when I think I have seen that glimmer amongst all this gloom. meantime I am hunkered down in this smelly fox hole for awhile. K-rations anyone?

Best,
Stitch
