Market power provides them an improved chance at winning in the smaller company category, but it doesn't guaranty success. There are competitors with a head start in smaller companies. The SAP reputation for costly and difficult installation is a negative in this new market. The good point is that SAP is aware of these problems, and is making an effort to correct them. In an earlier post I pointed out that if you went down the list of customer complaints, SAP was listening and working on them all.
I'm not trying to rain on the SAP bull parade. I probably own more of the stock than most participants on the thread, but I think it's always a good idea to keep looking for anything that might change the paradigm for the company's success
