Joe, you hit the nail on the head with your statement < Sergio, there always seems to be something with ATPX (Pakistani hold). >

I analyze stocks from a fundamental viewpoint as you know. Fundamentally, this stock is fabulous. There are some kinks that need to be ironed out before we see this stock take off. Primarily, the Equus problem needs to be resolved and the solution to that problem is coming before winter sets in. Overall, the earnings report demonstrates that the company is on the right path. The next 3 months are the critical point for this stock.

Remember sitting in Annapolis going over chart analysis on one stock. That one stock did not have the fundamentals to support whatever the technical analysis was saying. A year later my statement holds true. You know the stock, right Joe?

phew, plugging thru about 200 posts today trying to catch up.

joe, does the quarter to quarter comparison show an increase in intangibles? if so, this can be attributed to the neosoft purchase. the intangibles would consist of things such as goodwill for say customer base or possibly an excess paid above market value for acquisitions.(not the only types, however, one other that comes immediately to mind is patents) i haven't checked. but if it has increased from qtr to qtr, it could almost certainly be attributed to the neosoft deal. it is a common practice to remove these types of assets from an analyst's perspective.
