Timing you say. How ironic that it came on the 10 year anniversary date of the biggest market fall in history. I was actually scared that day because I am sometimes supersticious. Also, the agreement ends on the 20 year anniversary date. Maybe CF will do in 10 years what the market has done since that historic day. I guess I can dream can't I.

Just want to remind you timing:
ATLANTA, GA (October 29, 1997) - Integrion Financial Network and CheckFree Corporation (NASDAQ:CKFR) announced today a 10-year processing partnership

That was enormous news and CF didn't have any Asian connection.

Yea, and what has changed since then?

1) Things continue to unwind for the worse in Asia...

2) U.S. as been kinda effected, but not full scale...

3) Any hit on the economy, business in general is going to push business to lower or control costs...

4) And here we sit with the lowest cost processing platform able to scale to 1/3 of all U.S. households..for bill presentment...and other things. During a recession you still have bills what a bitch, but we are the low cost provider. Like an energy crunch and you have the only open gas station in town. That I can deal with..
