Jason I agree with completely!

I know some of you won't like the following sentence but...

This is a great opportunity for real long term INVESTORS, when I say "long term investors" I don't mean few days or weeks, I mean OVER A YEAR. The lower the stock price the better, because we can buy more shares for the same amount of money we put every time we buy some MTEI. I was planning to buy more on Monday and it didn't fill, now I can buy 50% more share for the same price. Please MM bring the stock to 10 cents, at least just for few days, will love to triple my long term position.

I learned from some of you to never put all my portfolio in a long term stock WHEN I don't want to be a long term investor. Glad I listened to you.

Will be back tomorrow, we have a lot of deep clean up to do, there is trash all over this thread.

Have a good night!

One of the best things to do in show of support for a company in its infancy ... YOUR COMPANY ... is to not fly off the handle or give up on them in the beginning (let's face it ... this is the beginning yet). In a case like this, where the persons in management are rookies at all of the aspects of managing a public company, the best thing to do, in my opinion, is to let them know where they have erred, and give them suggestions for improvement. If you happen to talk to any of them on the phone, tell them what it is that the investing public wants and expects from them ... no more ... no less. This pouting and complaining stuff, while understandable, frankly doesn't accomplish a damn thing. Hate to be blunt like that, but it's pretty true, I think. And, this stuff about how hard it will be for the stock to recover is a bunch of B.S. I've seen some of the worst companies you could possibly imagine investing in spring back to life after taking a beating they actually deserved on just pure hype and speculation. If MTEI turns out to be half of what they claim they are/will be in the near and long-term, then most (if not all of us) invested in this company right now should not be as fearful as we are becoming at this point. Just throwing my opinions out here, since everyone else is.

I should say, too, that I can respect anyone's decision to sell for whatever reason. It's their hard-earned money, so they should be able to do whatever they damn well please with it without taking any heat for doing it. I wasn't trying to scold anyone who has sold for doing so, or anything like that. I'm just tired of hearing people complain and whine about the company, about company management and about their investment. I'll agree that venting out of frustration is acceptable, but I'll not agree that it's OK to slam the company and its management this early in the game without at least looking at things from their perspective first. Can they control the stock price? To some degree ... OK, yeah. But, if they have nothing significant to report right now, how can they be faulted for the stock price being where it's at? They can issue a press release tomorrow explaining the switch to Dunn from Stagg, and they can issue another one explaining in more detail their qualifications, where they've worked, what their business plan is, etc. until they are blue in the face, and the stock price might move up a couple of cents. Fact is, reports on the value of the assets on their properties, mergers or acquisitions or beginning production on some of their properties and bringing in $$$ is about all that will really get the ball rolling here. I think that stuff will all happen. Maybe to less of the extent that people were hoping for ... maybe to more of an extent. Who knows? I won't lose any sleep thinking about that right now though.

One big DITTO to this post!!

Haven't sold a single share, haven't blamed a single person, haven't even become upset.

In fact, this MTEI saga is beginning to fascinate me. I am holding till at least May of 99, unless the companies fundamentals take a drastic turn. (ie. uselton quits, lawsuit, etc.) IMO, one year from now, when looking back at the recent events pertaining to MTEI, it will actually be somewhat amusing.

Btw Macker, if you're listening, I feel sorry for you. You were labeled as a rocketeer unwillingly, and received the reputation/attention that comes along with it. I know that you never intended for things to develop in the manner that they did, and IMO, you had little control over it, if any. Please know that I have not, and never will, place any blame on you. Any decision concerning my money is mine own. nuff said.
