Just a small note: a lady who own a small shop bought 100 contracts of Dell calls besides some for msft, or something else. Just a contrarian view that MMs need to brake it to shake these option gambler off? To me many thinks stocks are easy to win than lottery!! And it is true if some buy internuts.

Timoteo, it must be time for a crash. I have become convinced the DJIA is headed to 12000, and have been sniffing around and thinking about actually taking some new long positions.

When the economy finally runs out of steam and we cycle into recession is when I see the correction happening.

Timoteo, is there any precedent that you know of for the market to lag the economy going into a recession such that the fall doesn't begin in earnest until the recession shows in the stats? I seriously doubt it, but would be interested in knowing.
