DELL cannot possibly make all of the PCs that the others are losing out on. Overall, PC sales down - that means TOTAL - example: Let's say, last year, DELL, GTW, HWP and IBM each sold 500K units each with a copy of MSFT for 2 million units (4x500K). This year GTW, HWP and IBM each sold 300K units and DELL sold 750K each with a copy of MSFT for 1.65 million units (3x300K + 750K). MSFT experienced a decline of 350K units, but DELL experienced an increase of 250K units! It is all in relationship to where you are standing when the figures are reported. Regards, Ken
