The bottom?

No telling where or when we'll have full capitulation on this sector. Right now the fundamentals suck and money is flowing out.

Still waiting to get in, probably another Q or two.

It looks pretty bad from a TA point of view. Not that I claim to be an expert, just a dabbler. Looks like 59 should give some kind of support. Long term, I don't think you can go wrong with SLB, but right now it's pretty painful for longs. Of course, the whole market was down big yesterday.
If it's any consolation, SLB is a core holding of Stephen Leeb who puts out the Personal Finance newsletter.

Hi Frankz,

Does anyone have any comments on today's move on SLB?

It sucks! I had made some good money on this one awhile back trading it and made the mistake of buying it back.

Anyway, it held on support Friday. If it breaks this support, who knows?

What we need is CNBC to start talking about how this is a good value sector AGAIN so it will bounce enough for me to get out. :-)

Good luck!

Monty
