Mark,

Working late tonight and you know why.

Stock picking. Three sources.

Microsoft Investor
You'll be amazed what concoction you can create with it's stock finder. I have a momentum search and a Birds search. I run the screens every morning and add them to my screen with alarms at critical places. MS Investor is free for 30 days. $9.95 after that. The stock finder alone is worth that. Not enough technical screening though. This is good actually. Best to look at charts than have a computer overscreen.

Positive news movers
Most folks have access to this. Etrade offers Briefing.com free to clients. All through the day they are tough to beat when it comes to filtering useful price moving news. I tend to look for a combination of good news and charts at breakout or support areas.

Volume & Percentage gain movers - This I must check more frequently as I have only 1 monitor.
I use a PCquote screen with 10 simultaneous windows showing top 10 volume/gainers for all exchanges except OTC. Three more windows show, 2 yr weekly, 1 yr daily, and 5 day 5 min. intraday as well as 1 day 1 min. intraday charts. Once a suspect is spotted, I can instantly see it's entire technical picture including MACD... etc. After a while doing this a quick glance at a weekly is all it takes to see potential. If I had looked yesterday, would have got PSIX at open today.

Thanks for analyzing it's potential. It was swimming upstream today. Hope tomorrow's markets are friendlier.

I notice you never mention the overall markets. Seems like we definitely have a correction at hand (the last one was too mild). I don't see the DOW going down 5 consecutive days though. That could be serious.

On the topic of stop losses, it would be nice if it could be automated via a preset default. You put in a buy order and stop loss simultaneously.

Back to work.... Rashid

PS. How about that list! You needn't be humble all the time

HI Mark!

What's your Short term target on TRBDF? Would it be correct to say that the last move from breakout point was from 11-14, then retracement of ~50% and hopefully now the next leg up? Isn't it often that the next move up is the same magnitude as the first move which would be about 3 points. Would that mean target 15.5(from pullback area) or 17 from the high of the previous move?

I know...i always have questions ;-)))!

Stefan

Hi TA - If you get a few minutes, could you take a peek at CAGI and BNTI to see what looks to be in their share price future?

Thanks,
SR
