Lack of Marketing.

What happened to that "hockey stick" type of revenue ramp.I think Craig did a great job on the conference call. Management needed to be confronted on their obvious mistakes. This happens to alot of engineering companies..they fail to correctly notice and take advantage of future market trends. Ancor needs to start leading the customer and quit reacting to their current needs...youre usually to late if you end up in this position. Conducting a company turnaround isn't an excuse for 130,000 in revenue....we've heard too many excuses in the past. Hiring two execs for marketing and sales isn't enough to turnaround this extremely weak part of Ancor...they need agressive marketers constantly studying future trends and communicating those with product development and advanced product development. If you take a look at Vixel's website you can see that they are sconstantly searching for product marketing and OEM marketing staff.

That was a great point about HUBs, Craig (Seems like Vixel is doing well with your strategy, Craig.)....an experienced mangement team leads the customer by giving them all the functionalities they need before they know they need them.

Brocade seemed to call the market right; thanks to Brenda C Brocade gets all the FC credit in most of the press.

Who is the customer in Japan...how long do those darn NDAs last....as Ancor atock keeps dropping don't you think "ADNOH" would cooperate and give ANCOR some credibility by confessing they like their Lan focused products.

Customer focused is good but a little late...should have learned that when we lost Sequent by not understanding what the customer needed.

Although the arrival of the new execs brings me hope ...I still cringe when I think of how small SPCL once attracted the infamous John Sculley.

Help.
