This sounds nice:
news.com

I'm not surprised Motro doesn't come off too well. I interviewed
at a company where the CIO came from Seek and he didn't seem
like he was the sharpest tack in the box, either. Smug seems
to be rampant at many companies around here. I wish I could
mention the name of the SV company I work for - the 'attitude'
among the senior execs is amazing. I expect they'll run it into
the ground but that'll take a year or two and my pre-IPO options cost about 2 bucks and they're trading at about 40 now. Lock-up ends soon though and it'll be interesting to see how the massive availability of more shares will affect trading. Most of us wouldn't sell due to tax implications. Hopefully, MSFT/IBM/someone else will gobble us up for 60/share. Back to the thread, I'm long on Seek almost purely on the basis that I like and use its service, and in the past that has done me well stock-wise. For the volume to be at 1/3 of normal the day they release earnings in this kind of market is really not a good sign. I really feel kinda screwed by Mr.G's timing though.

Best Regards,
- Jerry
