jim, i agree. after all this "reorganization" and "restructuring," not to mention what i believe is most probably outrageously aggressive accounting, gtw puts out a 6% yty growth rate. what a freaking joke. this has been all but obvious to me for a long time. when the bulls were feeling good enough to ridicule my thesis that gtw just wasn't producing i bought puts (when gtw = $61). couldn't believe they ran it to $70. i though some accounting gimmick would boost eps. i still think it did. from $0.30 to $0.38 ;-) my aug 55 puts ought to do well for me. but, ya never know. i've consistently over rated the intelligence of the avg fund manager and investor for quite some time - to my detriment. i've found i'm usually 12-16 months ahead of them. let's hope this dose of reality wakes up the herd... nothing else has, so i'm not overly confident i'll make out like a bandit. but, i can always hope ;-)
