Have you heard about Zapata, the fish oil company that wants to be in the internet commerce business? This one smells real bad. <G> But, ahaaaa its got options!

So when the mob or the bulls run Zapo's share price thru the roof some put options may be the way to go. I figure it's best to get in on this put candidate before Asensio & Company puts the sell recommendation out! I can just sense that Asensio is watching Zapo and grinning with anticipation. Another Diana Corp in the making :-)

Here is a CBS article on this one:

P.S. Maybe I'll buy calls also. How high did Diana go before it's plunge?

Skeeter:
Thanks for nice note. It's appreciated.

Does a full-furred nasty bear like me dare to suggest a possible buy (speculative but decent risk/reward ratio)?.....especially when it's a bit out of my normal tech sector territory? Hmmmmm. Take the following for what it's worth given the "Earlie" moniker and my bleak "big picture" view of the market.

MB's profitable interest in some of the more exotic metals got me digging (lousy pun) around up here. Lucked into a thing that has got Falconbridge excited, although it's not in the exotic side of the metals game.

Falconbridge hunts exclusively for the "elephant" deposits. They've been developing a "camp" that their own technical people believe is just such a situation. Results to date have done nothing but further enthuse the Falconbridge team, so they've maintained a low profile on it for obvious reasons..

A short while ago, Falconbridge's upper management decided to limit Falconbridge's world-wide exploration to nickel exclusively, (this play is copper-zinc-lead-gold), so a small but savvy independent outfit proposed a very unique deal to see the exploration play through to its conclusion. The little guy funds Falconbridge to do the drilling, geology, etc., with both participating if the results are what is expected. The little company is effectively a remarkable warrant on Falconbridge. It's worth having a look at now as the last drill results were sufficiently remarkable that Falconbridge sent assays out to 4 separate labs for confirmation. (Bri-ex shadow still apparent) and a new series of drilling starts this week. The drill play alone will probably engender a bit of trading action, but it's the involved geologists' superb detective work that has my attention. Company is called Nar Resources. Might be worth a look for those who are speculators. I've posted on their SI thread, which is a decent source of info.

Base metals are low on the totem pole at the moment, (which I love).

Best, Earlie
