Satyr, there's no central order book (yet), but the MM has his own book, and that's where the Manning rule comes in. The interesting question for me is how do you get time & sales where you can tell who the MM is on a given transaction.

Try one of the three NASD web sites. Most of the larger firms have automated systems that automatically execute a customer limit order when a potential Manning violation exists.
