we know who is watching what

Yep, all too often on the thinly traded, heavily shorted stocks I have found it best to stay mum on the boards. Actually some of my easiest, most relaxed shorts have been stocks that shorts grew board with after a 30-50% drop and moved on. By that time discussion was all but dead. It seems with no shorts jabbing the 10Q's, longs don't feel the need to spread. The stocks just slowly fade away.

Maybe there is some twisted rationalization longs use that since short-ies are unfairly driving down the stock price, it is OK to make up rumors and lies.

I dunno, sound plausible?
