On many stock discussion threads sentiment builds in one direction or another, whether long or short. Sometimes it reaches a critical mass where many people begin piling in, based more on emotion than careful thinking. At that point there is the risk (more than the usual degree) that perceptions are more easily altered and potentially distorted.

Are the perceptions of the announcement of Zitel's New York State contract influenced by this phenomenon? The discussion of how many dollars Zitel might earn from this small contract is a limited way to understand its significance. More important considerations include:

1. Whether this contract opens doors to other NY State contracts.

2. How large might that potential be.

3. What significance is there to the pricing?

4. Does this contract with NY State give a boost to making contracts with other organizations, whether with Zitel or MatriDigm?
