If I gave you the impression that intel "should" have converted entirely to PII by now, I'm sorry. If you read on in my last post, maybe you can understand that the point I was trying to get across was that earnings are going down.

Remember, intc first did not even publicly acknowledge cheap systems. Then they went on to call them "subzeros". Now they are proud of the fact that Celeron is going so well (???). They are even upping the intro of its successor.

Do you think "gangbuster" yields on these products will help earnings?
Do you think any x86 maker is going to want to be sitting on inventory this half? I think that most intc investors care about earnings to some degree. I read many posts on this site about people speculating about how intc will rise to $100 or $120, but no one seems to go on the record saying exactly how this will happen.

Even thy hero "Big Bucks" only picks on the weak & simple minded, choosing to stay away from issues such as intc's earnings. If anyone would care to "lay out" how intc will "maintain or increase margins + or - a few points!", I would be glad to hear it. I enjoy seeing other people's perspectives, but more so when they are well thought out instead of name calling or telling people they don't know what they are talking about.

BTW, there are 2 "n"'s in my name.
