The bounce has been bounced back. I think that LU will probably sink to the high 80's and then move sideways for a couple of weeks. Then it will depend on what things are like in about a month or so.

Most of my LUCENT is in my 401K. If I were smart I'd move to something safe like a GIF fund until LU bottoms out somewhere then move back into LU.

That's one thing that is nice about a 401K. There are no taxes to be paid (no capital gains) on a move like that within a 401K.

I've done it several times and have made out okay, although trying to move out on the highs and back in on the lows can sometimes burn you.

My best move recently would have been to move out the day before earnings were announced. Sometimes you just sit there watching for a couple of days and before your very eyes the stock drops 10 - 12 % before you realized you've blinked.
