Mr. Forthright, you know the hypesters have the same agenda as all the rest of us do: make money. And, hey, if you're going to make money, isn't it MUCH more fun to be part of a big group (read conspiracy). Why go it alone when you can make new friends and be involved in intrigue and excitement.

I'm curious...conspiracy theorists and accused hypesters alike, do you think that a place like SI can actually significantly influence the prices of stocks? And if so for how long a time frame?

Concerning agendas: during a conversation with my grandmother she told me she had played canasta over the weekend. I'm unfamiliar with the game and asked, "What's the general idea of the game...the objective?" She looked at me with a bit of contempt for my ridiculous question (now my wife knows where I get my competitive drive) and said, "To win." I let it stand at that.

Take care,
Gary
