I have visited the spree.com music site before and know they sell a lot of CDs in the $12-$17 range. That price was probably a hook, but doesn't necessarily reflect their base price for all CDs. I haven't done anything near a "comprehensive" survey of the music sites; but I have looked at quite a few, and I still haven't found any that offer as good a price as Compact Connection for so wide a range of selections.
