This is not directed at any one person but at the whole thread in general. Have any of you seen the news. Greenspan has lowered the boom and the market is starting to correct itself. He said that enough was enough. All the stocks are down right now, not just MTEI. Oh sure, there will always be some small momentum plays out there but in general the market is not going well. Here is a quote from the Houston Chronicle Business Section dated 7/24/98 "Stocks have dropped every day this week because investors are appalled by a barrage of bad ernings reports." "The Dow Jones industrial average fell 195.93 to 8,932.98 on Thursday. Its the first time the Dow has closed below 9,000 since July 1 and it's 4.3 percent below last Friday's record close of 9,337.97." "Remarks to Congress this week by Alan Greenspan, chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, also caused investors to think twice about stocks, analysts said." "Greenspan said a sharp stock market drop is inevitable at some point and dashed investors' hopes for a cut in interest rates anytime soon." We all knew that this was on the horizon. PB
