I've been repurchasing 3dfx after the post-earnings sell-off. Grabbing batches of 400 shares. Got a batch at 16 5/8, then 16, and just now at 14. Got a few more batches up my sleeve I'll pull the trigger on if we go to 12-13 although I think its unlikely. Maybe we might get their briefly in a general and 3dfx-specific panic, but investors will probably plow in like they did when it dipped to 13 1/2. Even assuming less than 10% annual growth, 3dfx is good deal at these prices. Analysts are equating Banshee as decreasing margin ... almost like they assume V2 won't sell anymore. I think V2 will have diminishing sales though xmas but then I expect V3 to hit. 3dfx will not relinquish the high-end consumer gaming market and Banshee just provides another nice cash cow for the larger low-cost market.
