Don,
As you are aware, I am long on HEC and think I, and some others, are going to do very well with the stock..... But, I think a large dose of reality needs to be interjected here, as I am reading into your posts that you are thinking they may be trucking out fifty loads of oil per day.
I can only say, that unless the roads are paved, I would have serious doubts as to the feasibility of moving that amount per day. I noted on the Yahoo thread that someone else had made a post that reflected the same thought. I have never seen anything from Harken that said they were going to truck that much out. My best recollection was that they were going to truck 1,000 barrels per day... not 10,000.
To move 10,000 barrels per day is a load every thirty minutes, and I don't care how good the gravel is, those roads won't stand the traffic for any duration of time.
Well, that's MHO.... just didn't want a bunch of threadsters to have their expectations too high.
oh yeah.... I'm not a highway engineer so I could be wrong! I am just trying to use some common sense with what I know about trucking oil in Texas. Colombia's roads may be much better than ours!! <ggg>
We have a great buying opportunity today!!!
Keep Smilin'
Rod

Hi Don, at least Harken is a Columbian producer now, not just an exploration outfit. Now we are international!
