Teri,

just finished reading the GTW report. 33% unit sales growth to get 16% sales growth. AUP declining. Asia stronger than expected while Europe weaker.

Trying to add this up as for chip demand, I am not sure if there is much demand the next faster better chip?

Correct me if I am wrong. 64mg is being produced now, replacing the 16s. But if the 64 cost, say, $10 while the 16 cost $2, why wouldn't I just buy 4 16s instead of 1 64? I understand there is a limit in space inside the box (which I obviously don't visit very often). However, if I have 4 slots and want memory, 4X64 is 256, which I am guessing is more than what most of us need for hell of a long time.

What is the incentive to entice a chip maker to invest hundreds of millions to get to the next level?
