I just got this weeks information week and there is a positive article on page 93 re: Supply Chain Stocks. I am contemplating a buy in of MANU at these levels. Any thoughts positive or negative at this point (i.e. 19 3/4 level).

The great fall of MANU has indeed proven to be like a falling knife ... and who knows how much more flesh it would operate on! The strong -ve momentum was obvious to me on July 24 (post #828, MANU around 24) and it really felt like it was getting sucked down by 2G forces to me that time (no uptick in very low RS whatsoever). Now also, I wouldn't even try to guess the bottom. Just look at AFCI ... which is in a much better shape than MANU, though entirely diff sector. Once it started falling, it went from 44 to 6.5 in a few months. Now, I think its showing strong signs of bottoming out. What about MANU? ... What about MANU, I ask back. Do you see 6 first before you see 15? You bet. Why? Caught the momentum cold, imho. It would have gone to 6 on its own, if the earnings would have come out towards its normal Sept end timeframe, because of the -ve momentum and uncertainty. Imho, management might have tried to put a stop to that momentum by announcing early. (Because they might have feared that if it is already 6 and then they announce, it might see 4 ... so lets announce now). Does all this make sense now?

regards to all,
-/Sonny.
