I'm not sure what you mean by distribution. That is the term I use for a stock that is being sold. HBOC has been under distribution for the last few sessions, and is being heavily daytraded. Most of the daytraders I interact with trade news and event driven stocks, and do so while the news is fresh. When the news is stale, the stock is cast aside and forgotten. MARG was a good example. The best place to look for the current stocks being daytraded are the Price % gainers, Price % losers, and high volume lists. If you have time during the day you might drop by #daytraders and watch, you'll get a good idea of what the stocks du jour are on any given day.
