I'm certainly not saying that analysts are correct; nor am I talking about the stock price. My question is about Mr Pink saying they have "no products" when MRVC's sales and analysts comments would appear to suggest the opposite. Inquiring minds want to know why?

Christopher, one can come up with stock after stock that has nosedived despite "respected" analysts pounding the table at far higher levels. When there are almost no significant sell recs coming out of Wall Street for fear of offending the company, and losing the possibility of lucrative underwriting fees. Another reason why some analysts issue "buys" is to generate buyers for stock they wish to sell. I saw this happen just this morning, as Goldman put HBOC on it's focus list, or some such. From 9:30 on to where the stock bottomed Goldman was on the ask. Why was Goldman selling a stock so aggressively when they had issued press that would make people think it was a good buy?
