Dell,

The issue is that:

1) Windows ships with netshow.

2) You load real player because you prefer it.

3) You click on a video stream from your browser (IE of course).

Which packages opens for you? Net show because bills defaults this in his operating system. This has absolutely nothing to do with RealPlayer, it never had a chance to operate. Windows does not allow a user to choose which media player to use, end of competition.

There is no bug, broke was a poor choice of words on which microsoft put a good spin.
