I may just listen to you guys and let that evil balloon go on Monday. <gg>

Want to share a tale of good fortune with you guys. It is about my
OS (just VRC and FGII) trades the past two weeks, keeping in mind
that OSX is down about 15% during this time and I did not short a
thing:

1. VRC - in 19 7/8, out 20, net 1/8 = +0.6%
2. FGII - in 24 1/8, out 24 3/4, net 5/8 = +2.6%
3. VRC - in 17, out 18 7/8, net 1 7/8 = +11.0%
4. FGII - in 25 1/16, out 25 3/16, net 1/8 = +0.5%
5. FGII - in 24 1/8, out 24 7/8, net 3/4 = +3.1%
6. FGII - in 23, out 24, net 1 = +4.3%
7. FGII - in 22 3/4, out 22 7/8, net 1/8 = +0.5%
8. FGII - in 21 3/4, out 23 7/8, net 2 1/8 = +9.8%
--------
32.4%

Overall I think I have been very lucky. The lesson here, I'm sure not
all will agree, is to pick a game plan for a stock. I don't know why
I have always been able to pick the intraday and day-to-day direction
of these drillers/OS stocks but the charts certainly have helped a
little. Hopefully, this will serve to show how an investor (yes,
not speculator as I always stay true to their business) in the
driller/OS can profit by conservatively trading and not speculatively
buy-and-hold. Afterall, I have done this for two years with pretty
good overall results regardless of whether they go up or down.

By being conservative, I am holding no risk going into this weekend.
By being conservative, I also avoid most of the heartache.

If being speculative, I would have averaged down and lose a shirt each
day the past two months. No joke. Hope this also serves as an
example of why one needs to keep the priority straight - the objective
of investing is to profit and there are many ways to achieve the end
result. There is no one investment style that can fit all realities
at all time. No way. My experience suggests the best approach is to
understand the character of the stock and deploy a gameplan
accordingly and never lose sight of the objective.

That's why, I may just let this evil balloon lose and avoid one more
pain in the butt.
